A review for my recent truck purchase at Germain Mazda West was requested so here is my experience. I bought a 2014 Dodge Ram Laramie 1500 4WD Crew Cab on 9/6/23. The service and attention prior to the sale was excellent but was lacking after the sale. My salesman was Shauon Rogers who is interesting, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He showed me a couple trucks on the Germain Mazda lot and we drove around to see what was on other Germain dealerships in the area. During my time at Shauon’s desk a couple people stopped by to introduce themselves and welcome me - I liked that - Brian Wehmeyer, Sales Mgr and Kyra Kanicki, Internet Sales Specialist. I also appreciated that a bit of negotiation was not out of the question. We came to agreement on a price with my trade but I was giving them two sets of keys with my trade in but the truck I was buying only had one key fob, Brian and Shauon agreed to have their 3rd party locksmith contact me to make a duplicate key (fob). We reached a purchase agreement and Shauon had the 2014 Dodge truck washed, filled the tank with gas and moved my license plate - very nice. Kyra Kanicki who is organized and professional prepared and processed all the paperwork and she said to call her if I had any questions or problems getting the title. Everything with Kyra went smoothly and I got the title promptly. So here are the problems after I took possession of the truck. The third party locksmith never contacted me for my duplicate key/fob. Also, I found that the wheels have a wheel lock on each. Typically the wheel lock tool permitting removal would be in the truck. It wasn’t. Germain Mazda West service dept had the wheels off to check the brake condition when they were preparing this vehicle for their sales lot. Also when service was preparing this truck for sale - wipers, filters, oil change, etc they accidentally wrote the wrong mileage on their service documents - they wrote 75,531 but correct mileage is 120,258. So Carfax has the service report from Germain Mazda West and they flagged their report as mileage inconsistency. There is a note on the Carfax report that says the dealership should contact Carfax to let them know if this is what the odometer shows or was there a clerical error. I have spoken to Ron in Germain Service and to Brian Wehmeyer and Shauon Rogers but it has been a month and nothing seems to be happening. My suggestions were to call the previous owner of my 2014 Dodge Truck who traded it in at Germain Mazda. Ask him for the extra key and if he has an extra tool for the locking lug nut. They said he works at Coughlin Ford which is close to me in Pataskala. Or get the unlocking tool from Germain Mazda West service as I have the brake report dated 9/6/23 which shows brakes at a number 7 usage. Since your third party locksmith has not called, please call Liberty Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Pataskala and have a duplicate key ordered. Also contact Carfax with correct mileage and have them remove odometer rollback comment. By the way I also bought a 2018 Jeep Compass Trailhawk from Germain Kia on 8/4/23 so this should be additional incentive to retain me as a satisfied customer. Bradley Thomas

Did a great job servicing the car. Completely washed my car and it looked great afterwards. Was quick and easy, only about an hour and they send a video to you running through everything they checked and it’s status.
The service center is hands down the best at what they do!!! Jolie was professional and courteous keeping me undated on vehicle.

Great service and great people. Jo was wonderful to work with. We got right in for our appointment. I was surprised and delighted to find out that my first oil change was no charge on my new car. An extra perk I didn't even know about The people in the Service Dept are courteous, friendly, helpful, and have a great sense of humor! I highly recommend Germain Mazda.
Pro: Kind staff and quick service. Nice video report explaining the examination and definitely recommended. Nice waiting area and even a nice candy box as a gift for me when I leave. Con: a bit more expensive than I thought, but the price are listed clearly on the screen.
Larry Donavan was absolutely amazing. Purchasing a vehicle was easy and not stressful at all! I will definitely purchase from Mr. Donavan again. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to make my daughter feel special. He pulled the used vehicle in the showroom and even placed a bow on the hood! I was so impressed with how everything went and the respect given to us by Larry and the used car manager. I highly recommend Germain Mazda and Larry Donavan as your salesman!

Really great first visit. I set the appointment via phone. When I arrived, I pulled right into automatic bays and got checked-in in comfort. Towards the end of the quoted service time I received a video walkthrough of the vehicle inspection and the items being serviced. It was great! They had a couple of recommendations for additional items, which I passed on for the time being. Perhaps a bit pricier than a Jiffy-Lube type experience, but worth it to me for the ease, the thorough review, and the comfortable waiting room (free wifi, drinks, and snacks).
